General Steps to Transform a Skirt into a Corset Belt:

Step 1:  Start by cutting the skirt just below the zip, removing the bottom portion of the skirt. This will leave you with a high-waisted section being cut but not the wrap feature.

Step 2: To shorten the zip, watch my video tutorial> https://youtu.be/IdLCJvF-TMU for a professional finish.

Step 3: Working on the front of the skirt, cut the asymmetrical wrap to the desired length and shape.

Step 4: Try on the corset belt, to check the fit and the desired length.

Step 5: Optional: Turn the cut edge of the hemline to the new corset belt, including the asymmetrical wrap and hand sew the new hemline.

Step 5: To finish the belt press the new hemline for a professional finish.

Step 6: Your corset belt is complete, and ready to be style!
