Let’s Get Started …
Sewing a DIY Fabric Choker | Step by-Step Instructions
1 – Source your fabric accordingly. I’m using two strips of material from a recently re-fashioned pair of trousers. Don’t forget this is your chance to make a real statement so try to use interesting or special pieces of fabric.
2 – Take a seam ripper and open both trouser leg loops (if applicable).
3 – Sew a seam along the center, joining both pieces of fabric.
4 – Turn the neatened edges in on each other towards the center seam.
5 – Sew each end and trim.
6 – Once pressed, slip stitch the bottom and attach the press stud fastenings and you are done (not everybody likes to hand sew, but it is worth it for a professional finish to your sewing project).
7 – Wear with pride knowing you’ve created a choker individual to yourself 🙂
